Each KwikPen contains a small residual amount of liquid even after all four doses have been used. This leftover liquid is normal and helps with priming the pen for each injection.
Once all four doses have been administered, the pen will no longer dial up to deliver another dose, this means it’s empty and ready to be disposed of safely.
Below is a guide from the manufacturer showing how the pen’s plunger should look after each dose to help you identify how many remain.
If you’ve checked your dosage dates and believe there should still be doses left, please contact us at [email protected] so we can review and support you further.
If all four doses have been used, your pen is behaving as expected and can now be safely disposed of. You can then reorder or start your next pen when ready.
