Ordering & Receiving Test Kits FAQ

Answers to common questions around ordering and receiving Covid 19 test kits.

When should I order my test?

You can order your test kit at any time. PCR Kits typically have a shelf life of 6 months. Lateral Flow kits have a shelf life of 18-24 months. Both types of test kits require no special storage considerations. We recommend that you order your PCR kit a minimum of 7-10 days before your flight.

I ordered the wrong test - what can I do?

 If you placed your order within the last hour, you may be able to amend the test that you ordered. Please check your confirmation email and click on the link to view your order.

If you have placed an order longer than an hour ago but it has not yet been dispatched, please contact us. 

When will I receive my test kit?

This will depend on the delivery option you selected at checkout. You can select standard delivery or express delivery.

Standard delivery aims to deliver within 3-5 days. Express delivery aims to delivery within 1-2 days.

Tests ordered before 12 pm Monday-Friday will be dispatched same day.

Tests ordered after 12pm will be dispatched the following day. Kits ordered after 12pm on Friday, or on Saturday or Sunday, will be dispatched on Monday.

Please consult the Royal Mail guidance for further information on delivery times. 

Are there any dispatch time constraints on postal test kits?

We can only dispatch postal kits on weekdays. On Fridays, we will only dispatch kits on the same day if ordered before 12pm. If you order a postal test kit after 12pm on a Friday, or on weekends, then your test will be dispatched the following Monday. Please consider this delay when ordering any time-sensitive at-home postal test kits.

Where do you ship to?

Our test kits can only be shipped to UK and Isle of Man addresses. Delivery to Channel Islands, Northern Island & Scottish Highlands/Islands is not available.

Will my test fit through the letter box?

Yes - if you have ordered a single test it should fit through your letter box. If you have placed an order for multiple tests then it may not fit.

I’m nervous about taking my test. What if I do it wrong?

It's important to get it right so all test kits are accompanied by comprehensive instructions, and we also supply a guidance video at the point of registering and taking your test.

For Lateral Flow Test Kits, we give the option of purchasing a spare kit when you are ordering to use as a back up if you accidentally contaminate or lose your test. You can opt to receive this at the time of purchase. 

I haven’t received my test

We want to ensure your test gets to you on time so please contact us if your test has not arrived and it is now outside your expected delivery time.

It is helpful if you can first check the delivery address that you gave us was correct. You can find this on the email confirmation that we sent to you after purchase. We will also want to check on the order number so it is helpful if you can provide that too. 

I put the wrong address on my order

If you placed your order within the last hour, you may be able to amend your address via a link on the confirmation email that you received.

If you have placed an order longer than an hour ago but it has not yet been dispatched, please contact us.

If your test has already been dispatched to the wrong address and you have received a dispatch notification from the courier, we would advise that you contact them to request that the order be re-directed. 

The test is going to arrive too late

If you ordered a test and have realised that the test will arrive too late for the timeframe in which you need to take it, you will need to purchase another test that you can take in time.

Can I make an order over the phone

Unfortunately, we cannot complete your order over the phone. However, our website has been designed to make the ordering process as easy as possible for you. If you do have any questions, please contact us and our team will be happy to guide you through the process.

VAT Receipts

All covid testing products are VAT exempt so are unable to provide a VAT receipt. Your order confirmation will contain your order and billing details.
