Some countries, require observed testing. This can be conducted via a Zoom call with one of our observers.
To arrange Observed Testing
A Fit to Fly test must be purchased. We can only observe travellers using tests purchased from us, we cannot observe travellers using NHS tests.
When purchasing the test through our website, this will give you the option to book your observed testing appointment. This can be done here.
When do I need to take my test?
Different countries have different requirements, please refer to your destination’s government website for full details.
How long does the observation appointment take?
Observation appointments last on average 10-15 minutes. You will attend a Zoom meeting with one of our observers who will guide you through each step of the process from start to finish and will observe you taking the test to ensure it is being conducted correctly.
How far in advance can I book my observation appointment?
Session availability is uploaded via our website several weeks in advance. We'd advise to book as soon as you can to secure your required date.
There are no appointment times left. What can I do?
If you are looking for a session in the same month and there are none available, this may be because our observers are fully booked. If this happens, please get in touch with one of our Customer Service agents for advice.
I have missed my appointment. What can I do?
If you have missed your appointment, you will need to rebook another time slot to have this completed. There is a link on your appointment confirmation email which will allow you to reschedule or cancel.
I have taken my test without being observed. What can I do?
If you have taken your test before being observed and you have purchased a spare test from us, please feel free to book another slot. If you do not have a spare test, please get in touch with us for advice.
When should I register my kit?
We strongly recommend registering you test kit before your observation appointment. However registering after your appointment is possible too and will not affect the validity of your test.
I need an appointment for more than one traveler. Can we all attend the same session?
All sessions have a participant capacity. If you are booking a time slot for multiple family/ group members, you must ensure each member has a separate slot booked within the session.
My family/ group exceeds the participant capacity. Do we need to book separate appointment times?
If you require a group booking for a family/group of more than five people, please get in touch so we can further facilitate where possible.
Can you accommodate participants with additional support needs?
If you require extra assistance during your observation, please contact us ahead of your appointment to inform us. Our observer will make necessary arrangements to make the process as smooth as possible for you.
How do I prepare for the observation?
When attending your observation session, please ensure you are prepared with one form of identification as well as your 6 digit kit code and your kit. To avoid any technical issues, please log onto your Zoom call a few minutes prior to the booked slot, ensuring your camera and audio are active.
Please be aware that all sessions start promptly. Any late participants will not be accepted onto the session and will subsequently have to rebook another time slot.
